What a weekend!

This weekend was crazy busy! It was my Birthday among other things!  We had a garage sale Saturday and scored big! It was so much fun hanging outside, chatting w/ neighbors and customers-like the good 'ol days.
Then, my husband surprised me that night by taking me out to dinner and having all my best friends and family there!
These are the bestest friends a girl could ask for!
My dear family!
My sneaky husband! :)
Then, the next day . . . we were in downtown Naperville and they were celebrating "Civil War Days" at the settlement.  So, we had to check it out!

O was so excited to actually meet THE President Abraham Lincoln! :)
This was the Civil War reenactment-it was VERY loud!

This is my "antique" version of this picture below
And, of course, i couldn't leave w/out a few shots of our Tweeter friends.  The 3 babies are growing like crazy!  Few things i've learned about the birds-the babies sleep 24/7 except when being fed . . .  .and (this is gross), the mommy eats their poop! Seriously-no joke! Can you even imagine?  Well, i guess it keeps their nest clean.

This was snapped right after she fed them-you can see their beaks.  The mom saw me and took off fast-she's just a blur in this picture.

Happy B'Day!!!! What a wonderful sneaky husband to make that surprise work! Glad you had a special night out to celebrate!

Looks like a great time at the re-enactment. Love your touched up photo - looks super! Good weather for it! Your tweeter photos are cool - I am amazed they are right there at your window and that they stayed there.

First, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! Looks like so much fun! And KUDOS to your husband for pulling off the surprise.

The pics of O are just beautiful. I loved your antique version of the civil war event. That looked fun and educational.

Thanks so much for the Tweeter update. Very cool that all three birdies are thriving!
